Yesterday, Fall finally started. I can’t tell from the trees. But boy, there is a chill in the air. Sweaters, blankets, and scarfs have been pulled out of the closet. 55 degrees is not something I’m a fan of. But you know who is? Betty. She loves this time of year. We can finally finally take her for long walks without her reverse sneezing acting up. She doesn’t get super hot and pant like crazy. We can actually walk for a long period of time without her laying in the grass to cool down/stop/look like shes dying. It’s so nice to have that time with R and Betty. There is nothing better.
Well last night, I thought it would be nice to have a picnic with the man and dog and walk around “downtown”. Well, Mother Nature didn’t like that plan and instead she made it raining and cold. Boo hiss. We did, however, get to walk around (there was some kind of art show) and people watch. We didn’t buy anything but it was nice just to get out of the house for a little while. After the walk, R and I decided to pick up Panara (soup bowl for the win!) and watch the Steelers game (don’t want to talk about it…*grumble grumble*).
And now? The husband is playing his video games, I’m working on the Letter D lesson plans, and Betty is sleeping/farting up a storm. Ah, the joys of Sundays.
